Our area is perfect for all sorts of outdoor activities.
For those who love the sea, rubber dinghies and small boats can be hired in the nearby Gulf of Baratti, making it possible to reach the delightful little coves along the coastline and there is also a Diving Centre that hires out equipment. Other beaches nearby are suitable for windsurfing and are very popular with those who love that sport.
The Acacia agriturismo, located just a few kilometres from the campsite, has various sports facilities including a 5 or 7 a-side football pitch, tennis courts and also a relaxation centre that has a Jacuzzi and sauna.
Activities and Sports
WALKING
Guests who love to walk will have plenty of opportunity to do just that in nearby nature reserves with trails that meander through unspoiled countryside or the Archaeological Park of Baratti & Populonia. Others along the coastline have fabulous views over the sea and there are also medieval villages with characteristic inns to explore and enjoy!
MOUNTAINBIKES
The many trails that cut through nearby woods and offer breathtaking views across the sea and islands mean that keen cyclists are spoilt for choice! Excursions led by a certified guide can be arranged on request.
ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN
Our youngest guests will be thrilled to know about nearby fun parks! There are the two water parks in Follonica and Cecina and the “Cavallino Matto” fun park in Marina di Donoratico with its roller-coaster, water features, merry-go-rounds and more besides. For the slightly more adventurous, there’s the “Avventura” park in Cecina that has courses of various difficulty created with ropes suspended between trees.
